Network Neutrality

I am against the government filtering the internet. I believe it should be the parents consent to see and be informed on what the kids or underage are watching in the house. Parents are the ones in charge of the underage and they are the ones that should filter and/or make sure to know what others are watching. Responsibility lies on the parents and if they don't do what they are suppose to do to protect their kids from bad influences over the web then kids will get bad influences. Kids are easily influenced but they are also great to take care of if you do the right things. The way network neutralizing works is by the government filtering what people are able to browse through their computers, but i don't think that is the answer to the problem relating to the bad influences. I believe that the influence lies within the ones in charge of the computer or internet. If the government is trying to filter the internet for children safety they shouldn't because child safety is basically responsibility of the parent/guardian. When a child is in an insecure atmosphere with the internet they do very terrible things that most likely reflects on the parent. So my opinion about the government filtering the internet is no, because it is the responsibility of the parents.
